Here are some impressions from the flood in August 2023 seen from the air in Eastern Norway while the water level still is high.

Particularly hard hit was the hydroelectric power plant at Braskereidfoss, which has been in operation since 1978 when the dam collapsed. 

But other obvious damage are also easy to see, such as a flooded camping ground, and a number of farms and houses isolated as of August 10, 2023.
